Horrible customer service. Will never order from this business again

I unfortunately ordered from them and only recieved half of items,!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Only after I challenged the charge did. They show up. One was tiny one was large, the material was a joke. They barely resembled the pic. A quality that made me cry. I used their own guide and ordered clothing up one size. None of the clothes fit. This clothing is so cheap you cannot even use it as dust rags. I sent an email to the company they do not answer my email then I went on the internet and I found this COMPANY HELP which is seven ˢⁱˣ ᶻᵉʳᵒ ²⁸⁴ ³¹³¹contacted this company they admitted their mistake is what I order, and they sent me the wrong colors and different material item finally they have provided me a refund and return label FOR THIS CHEAP THIN CHEAP MATERIAL DRESS DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS WEBSITE ... PRODUCT IS NOT AS ADVERTISED! JUST DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE.

I have been a purchaser of outdoor clothing and equipment for decades. I would never again buy from MountainSteals, which is part of MooseJaw. I ordered an item which arrived defective and non-functional, but they wouldn't pay for the return shipping and were dismissive in email (you can't call and speak with anyone). Since they have been increasingly rude and unhelpful, and my request to speak with a manager was refused. I would never buy again from this company, and I suggest you don't, either. Most companies in this discount field have wonderful customer service...we don't need to get screwed by this one.

I ordered several items on Mountainsteals.com and ran into an issue with the expedited shipping. I spoke with John and he did an outstanding job resolving my issue. I am thoroughly impressed with him and will order through MountainSteals for my future outdoor needs.

I found a great deal on a jacket I'd had my eye on (since losing a very similar one in France a few years ago). I was excited to order one in a specific color, my package arrived... and it was totally the wrong item. Like, not even a jacket. The company agreed to replace my missing jacket with another one of the same size, but they all were out of jackets in my color. The replacement color was more expensive and not the one I wanted but at the end of the day I'm happy to have the jacket and thankful they did not charge me the difference. Just wish this whole mess had been avoided by sending me the right item in the first place.

Have to post a very positive recent experience with Mountain Steals. I ordered Leki Nordic Ski Poles. They had a very good advertised price. I had never ordered from them before so was a bit skeptical. The poles were delivered in 4 days. Unfortunately only one hand strap was delivered, not two. I called customer service, who said they would contact their warranty dept to see if I had to return the poles or if they could just send me a set of hand straps. Customer service called me back three hours later, and said new hand straps would be sent. I received the hand straps three days later. Service dept was obviously very responsive. Will definitely order again from Mountain Steals.

Ordered women's Dusty olive Merrell.got a man's shoe not Dusty olive but orange and brown..no response customer service..they keep blocking my Bait and switch review..have ordered from them over 5 year's.never again.????.

I found this site, wasn't sure about it and did some research to find out it was by the mother store Moose Jaw. I found a great price on a coat by Columbia that I wanted. Shipped fast and arrived in a timely manner. I loved the coat. It fit true. So, I can't speak on customer service, as I didn't have to contact them. But, I made sure to read sizing guide and measurements on jacket before buying. It was as described on their website. The coat was so soft, warm and beautiful. I didn't see any bad reviews before I purchased from them and I'm glad I didn't. My order went smoothly. I would suggest making your own decisions and decide once you order from them. Thanks to Mountain steals I have a beautiful, warm and comfy coat. Plus, it was 1/2 the price of other sites.

Item not received and no action from their team. Do not purchase.

Horrible service : I placed an order for a few items like jackets and backpacks for my trip and I received just 2 of them. After multiple follow ups and after placing a new order for the missing items just a few days before my trip with an expedited shipping, one of the packages worth $250 was again not delivered and I have been following for the last 10 days without any response.
I will never order from them again to save time, money and hassle and the unpredictability that partially ruined my trip.

Wish I had found this place sooner! Got a great deal, item was brand new in UnderArmor plastic. Ordered on Tuesday December 22 and got on December 24, which I could not believe being it’s the Christmas holiday rush. Look forward to future purchases.
